Since its establishment in 1945 as Izumi Shokai, the company has served as a leading company
of HMI (Human-Machine Interface) between humans and machines
and introduced a variety of products and services based around the control technology
in order to adapt to the changing customer needs with the times.
Also, as a company developing/providing products “protecting people’s lives”, we promote not only
safety and peace of mind for creating a safe and pleasant environment in a global society
but also an initiative for improving the well-being of all the stakeholders inside and outside the company.
Here at IDEC group, we promote a proposal to take initiatives from four aspects: Technology, Human, Standards and Management in order to turn different work places in the world to be worthy of work and live.
The keys to improve workers’ well-being are human resource development, handling rules such as regulations and standards, and the management team’s commitment for the actualization of well-being but not about performing activities limited to the aspects of production and technology by supplying quality products of high performance and usability.
IDEC performs a comprehensive practice from aforementioned 4 aspects in order to realize safety, health and well-being in its work places around the world.

Promoting diversity
In the name of “Humanity Respect Management”, IDEC group strives to refine the work environment to be embracing diversity including one’s nationality, gender, culture, lifestyle, etc., and help each employee with unique personality and value to maximize their performance.
In addition, as part of IDEC's hiring policy, we are promoting to hire diverse human resources through selections regardless of gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, nationality, social status, family origin, religion, etc.
Since 2018, the company has announced that October is the month of CSR and performs a variety of CSR activities to help employees deepen their understanding on IDEC group’s fundamental belief that “every employee should take the ownership of CSR” and take action for real.
