As far as corporate management and operation are concerned, the time has shifted from the era of quantitative expansion (i.e. revenues, profits, scales) to that of considering environmental/social responsibilities ensuring sustainability and caring workers’ safety, health and well-being. The first step to improve the well-being, it is to secure the safety of employees. All disasters such as injuries and sicknesses in the workplace have a cause, and the point is to build a preventive culture that keeps disasters from occurring by removing the causes.
