Joined IDEC as a new graduate from a tech university. Currently serves as the IDEC's manufacturing technology development engineer. Working diligently every day through wide varieties of work from a concept plan to launching equipment at a production site.
INTERVIEW
q1.Tell us about your current position.
My job is to build production facilities for all sorts of IDEC products.
It meant a lot to me when I received a thank you message at a production site.
I belong to the manufacturing division and manufacture production equipment for all sorts of IDEC products.
Generally, in most cases, we perform our work by dividing and assigning roles in electronics, software, etc., but we do all the tasks thoroughly from a concept plan to launching equipment at a production site. For this reason, many tasks I do are outside my speciality I have learned. The department always has an attitude to challenge new things all the time, so the team work closely in a friendly competition. I can tell the department as a whole has been growing up daily, and I receive much inspiration from other co-workers.
In addition, paying a visit to the production sites and listening to their voice is another important job for us. After new equipment is introduced through a number of dialogues, it makes my day with a sense of achievement when I hear them telling me "Our work has become so much easier, thanks!"
q2.Tell us about IDEC's attraction.
The corporate culture actively challenge new things one after another.
Also, the atmosphere allowing anyone to voice frankly on what they want to do is another characteristic of IDEC.
When it comes to control devices, I used to have a strong image of it as "something that is in use behind the scenes" but to my surprise many of those are actually used in our daily life and their product lineup is countless. I decided to join the company by looking up to its attitude to keep challenging in new fields while cherishing its historic products.
Also, the frankness is another characteristic of IDEC which frees everyone voice anything they want to do to the others. There is no need to be hesitant because you are a new hire, a woman, or whatever. The corporate atmosphere is created by the company as a whole where any employees can exchange their ideas so long as they speak up their mind.
q3.Tell us about your dreams and future goals you want to accomplish at IDEC.
I'd like to become a manufacturing technology engineer who can lead all the way from identifying a problem to its resolution.
Also, I would like to become a talent who can remain active in the society no matter how my life stage changes.
For doing so, I would like to actively learn from the hardships and mistakes without fear to become a talent with broad horizons with rich experiences in the future.
Also, here at IDEC, there are many senior employees who balance their work and life in various forms by optimizing the family supporting systems. I would like to become such a talent like them to stay actively working in the society even after going through life events as a female.

How to spend holidays
With a group of friends from high school, I have started taking hot yoga lessons. It is so refreshing to take lessons on weekends and after work because my sweats blow my worries away.
Not only doing yoga, gathering and updating one another with friends is another fun thing I look forward to. -

My favorite
An IDEC product I like is the Tokyo sensor tape switch. I have a special feeling about the tape switch welding machine as it was the first product I was dispatched and launched alone after joined the organization as a new graduate. Another thing I liked about it is its varieties of types with colorful and fancy exterior.

My dog turned 10! It is equivalent to 60 years old of human age, so he is not young anymore, but this year, I would like go on a family trip to a hot spring site with my dog.
