INTERVIEW
q1.Tell us about your current position.

I provide technical customer support in different phases ranging from considering to purchase IDEC products to post-purchase.
My main responsibility is to clarify customer's inquiries and guide them to a product purchase, and provide post-purchase technical support. IDEC can earn customer's trust because of this support.
Since last year, we have introduced an online meeting system and started to offer technical consultation for customers with prior reservation via zoom. We receive favorable comments for the service because customers who don't normally get to meet with our IDEC sales reps face to face can consult with IDEC directly to resolve their queries. Behind the scene our group members strive to brush up their support skills and capabilities on a daily basis.
It's easy to call them all IDEC products as a whole, but its countless number of offerings is overwhelming! My mind is in full gear because my role requires knowledge of not only new products but also discontinued ones over a decade ago. All of our team members work hard everyday helping each other to cover their weaknesses. I am encouraged the most when I hear from a customer saying "Arigato" as well as a sales rep saying "An order has been received!"
q2.Tell us about IDEC's attraction.

The company has a nice internal atmosphere and offers good systems.

When I express my concerns, someone responds to it, in other words, the company has "a friendly atmosphere encouraging employees to voice their thoughts and opinions."
This is a job so it comes with a performance target each of us need to attain. In order to do so, I can expect to obtain support from people around me and others cross-functionally. This is what keeps me going and this is what I love about IDEC.
Another attraction is its system allowing employees to continue working when one's life stage changes. As for my part, I have 3 roles as a working spouse and mom.It is a race against time and never comes easy, yet I can have fun and continue working at IDEC. This is all thanks to the IDEC's support system for work and life balance, the measures they offered when I consulted about my challenges, and my coworkers' kind understanding and cooperation.
q3.Tell us about your dreams and future goals you want to accomplish at IDEC.

It is to stretch our order-taking volume by convincing customers that "IDEC has a good technical support system to offer."

In order to attain our goals, I must aim to professionally handle all IDEC products before developing such members. Although I haven't had a chance to do so while racing against time with various tasks, I strive to improve the business process by prioritizing the first step to build a framework to complete minor tasks without troubling others and allow everyone secure time to brush up their skills.

HOLIDAY
How to spend holidays
I play tennis in the morning and have an afternoon nap in the afternoon when my schedule is open. This is probably the deepest sleep of the week I get! Other than that, I go out with my family, watch TV, and spend time with kids if our schedule meets.
-
FAVORITE
My favorite
Playing tennis is my joy, and it is no exaggeration to say that I work every week for this moment! Including the knee injury from my school days (it isn't because of tennis), I tend to get injured a lot. I am worried because the more injuries I get the more athletic supporters I end up wearing, but nothing can keep me from playing tennis.

OTHER
Miscellaneous
I don't really have any particular traits, but I get up at 4 am and prepare my kids' lunch box and supper. People are surprised when I tell them that I have never eaten frozen food.
