q1.Tell us about your current position.
Overall sales promotion support along with our subsidiaries' area development in formulation and execution. Our role is a liaison to bridge the subsidiaries and and the respective departments in our head office.
The Marketing and Strategy HQ and the Global Strategy department manage the global market divided into 5 regions. Among them, I am in charge of the area strategics in three subsidiaries which manages Asia-Oceanic regions excluding China.
From time to time, this position serves as a liaison between our subsidiaries and the respective departments in the head office. When things went smoothly, I scream "YES!!!" inside my head. In addition, there are many cases where we are exposed to our subsidiaries' business management perspectives. I am satisfied with the job because the role also allows me to contribute to such an aspect.
q2.Tell us about IDEC's attraction.
Its high reputation in the industry and its friendly work environment are the best part.
Certain products of IDEC have a high global market share. It means that the company receives good evaluation. The more companies use our products, the more our social contribution expands. I think this is what the company can boast of very much.
I think another attraction is its fully refined employee-friendly work environment. Depends of one's job type, they can choose their individual work style without limitation including working from home which has become popular since COVID-19, casual dress code, and simplified leave system,etc.
q3.Tell us about your dreams and future goals you want to accomplish at IDEC.
Regardless of the existing business practice, I would love to promote our business by incorporating new projects in order to contribute to the growth and expansion of our regional subsidiaries!
I am a mid-career employee who is pretty new to the company. In my current role, I still learn day by day. As a starter, I am planning to promote our regional subsidiaries' business by combining new projects rather than depending on its existing strategies of the subsidiaries I take charge of so that they can grow and expand their business further. It is my dream to learn and grow together with our counterparts at our subsidiaries and share a private laugh about those tough times we went through together with them over sake, lol.

How to spend holidays
I hang out with my kids. Because my second son is into playing soccer lately, I usually go out with him both Saturdays and Sundays (being his chauffeur for the most part) and cheer him playing in a game.

Whenever I could take a long leave, we used to go on a family vacation abroad. We go camping more often instead because of COVID-19. Unfortunately we haven't been able to go out camping as much this year because of the bad weather though...

Thanks to my careers in the past, I can boast of my visit to nearly 30 different countries so far! Some of the rare history of my destinations include South Africa, Croatia, Honduras, Bahrain, etc.
